This privacy statement describes how Maritime-pics collects and uses your personal information. The goal is to provide you with overall information about our processing of personal data.

When does Maritime-pics collect personal information?

We mainly process information that you have provided to us if you send us an e-mail. We also collect information about those who visit our websites. By retrieving information and / or using services on our websites, you agree that cookies are placed in your browser, as most browsers are set so that they automatically accept cookies. If you do not want to accept our use of cookies, you can withdraw your consent by changing the settings in the browser. However, we point out that this may lead to a reduced user experience.

What is registered when you use our website?

We use the statistics tool Google Analytics on our websites. The data collected is based on cookie and IP information. Google Analytics sets a 1st party cookie for all visitors to the site. Google stores user and event data for 26 months. This period is reset by new activity, e.g. by the user revisiting the site. The data stored does not include the User ID.

What is the information used for?

We use personal information for the following purposes:

Via Google Analytics, we compile anonymous statistics that help us understand how websites are used. Examples of such statistics can be information about which pages are most visited, where the users come from and at what times the pages are most visited.
