TO BE BROKEN UP – “YONG HANG 3” WAS RENAMED “LONG”, 1 FEBRUARY 2023 – NOW ON HER WAY TO BREAKERS IN INDIA

TO BE BROKEN UP:

“YONG HANG 3” reg. Panama, left Zhoushan in China, 13 January for Singapore and thereafter to Bahvnagar in India to be broken up. 

Vessel stopped in Singapore where she was renamed “LONG”, 1 February 2023, for the voyage to the breakers.

“LONG” arrived Bhavnagar anchorage 14 February 2023, and shiftet to Alang anchorage 16 February.

Vessel was beached at Alang, 19 February 2023, as her final destination.

Latest reported owners – Yonghang International Shipping – Care of East Maritime Services Co Ltd,  Panama City / Panama. (Since 12/2018)

Delivered from Shin Kurushima Dockyard, Akitsu / Japan (Yard no 2780), in 1993.

Name history:

  • “URUGUAYAN REEFER” from delivery in 1993 until 1999
  • “FORTUNE BAY” from 1999 until 2003
  • “FORTUNA BAY” from 2003 until 2018
  • “YONG HANG 3” from 2018 until 02/2023
  • “LONG” from 02/2023 until breaking in 2023.
