Name history:
- “DUVEISBEK” from delivery in 1957 until 1961
- “RENATE S” from 1961 until 1965
- “GARIBALDI” from 1965 until 1973
- “SONJA HOVE” from 1973 until 1983
- “DINNE” from 1983 until breaking in 1998.
Vessel was detained in Vejle DK 1 Jan. 1996, due to bottom leaks.
An inspection revealed severe corrosion and the repair costs were estimated at approx. USD 150,000.00. This was as much as the owners had paid for the vessel.
The ship was then laid up until she was sold for breaking
“DINNE” arrived breakers yard in Grenaa/Denmark 31 May 1998, as her final destination.
